About us

Sam has been a pastry chef in the Charlotte food industry for over fifteen years. She started her baking career as young as sixteen and has been baking ever since.

She opened Wentworth and Fenn in 2017. The bakery has seen a lot of changes over the years; from baking out of her home kitchen, to then having a commercial kitchen with a mobile storefront. She moved the bakery to Charlotte in 2020 to Camp North End. The bakery was at the brick and mortar location for four years.

Sam has recently closed the bakery at Camp North End, but is still making custom cakes and orders for clients.

You can find her as the pastry chef for L'Ostrica full time!
